Britain  Begets National Israel to Esau

The British Empire gained control of Canaan/Palestine in 1917.  The Jews in England began demanding a Jewish homeland.  They were offered other areas but the Jews insisted on Palestine.  Soon afterwards an agreement was reached called the Balfour Declaration which designated a portion of Palestine to the Jews as a place for their migration and habitation. So-called Jews from Russia, Eastern Europe, Iran, the USA, and South America began pouring into the Palestine area.

Militias, referred to as gangs, were formed and proceeded to kill Palestinians, burn their houses and villages, and generally cause destruction toward the Arab populations in Palestine.  These gangs, known by the names of:  Irgun, Stern, Lehi, Haganah, and Palmach even killed other Jews if they stood in the way of their nation building.  The British military finally left in 1948 and the Jews declared the state of Israel which was soon ratified by the U.N. and later by the USA.

The Irgun was a political predecessor to Israel's right-wing Herut (or "Freedom") party, which led to today's Likud party.  Likud has led or been part of most Israeli governments since 1977.  Menachem Begin was one of the Irgun gang’s leaders.

The Lehi or Stern gang was an offshoot of the Irgun gang and one of its leaders was Yitzhak Shamir.

It was been said that the Haganah group evolved into the national army of Israel, the IDF.  Notable members of the Haganah include:  Yitzhak Rabin, Ariel Sharon, Rehavam Ze'evi, Dov Hoz, and Moshe Dayan.

The Palmach  was the elite fighting force of the Haganah, the underground army of the Yishuv (Jewish community) during the period of the British Mandate for Palestine. The Palmach was established on 5-15-1941.  Notable commanders include:  Yitzhak Sadeh, Yigal Allon, Yitzhak Rabin, and Moshe Dayan.

As can be seen in the picture below, the Palestinian people will soon have no land at all.  Most of the Palestinian land has been confiscated via death, bulldozers, and other means.

How and why did all this occur?  Many American evangelicals consider Israel to be a miracle of God.  They believe the breach has been healed and the Jews represent all 12 tribes of the Davidic nation of Israel.  Some even consider the Palestinians to be Edomites and employ the prophecies concerning the Edomites as the basis for the Palestinian destruction by the Israeli Jews.

Jacob and Esau were the twin sons of Isaac and Rebekah (fraternal perhaps).  Esau was the firstborn and was lawfully to receive the birthright inheritance.  Prior to the twin’s birth, God told Rebekah the second born Jacob was to receive the promises.  Isaac made preparations to grant Esau the inheritance but Rebekah overheard and she and Jacob made plans to assist God in His endeavors.  After an extensive hunting event, Esau came home physically tired and hungry.  He then proceeded to trade the kingship part of the promise to Jacob for a bowl of soup.  Later, Rebekah dressed Jacob in Esau’s clothing and tricked Isaac into giving Jacob the birthright promise, thinking Jacob was Esau.

The Edomites were absorbed into the Jews (Judah, Benjamin, Levites) around 126 BC when Hyrcanus of the Maccabees conquered the Edomites and gave them the choice of either becoming a Jew or being deported.

Josephus tells us in Antiquities of the Jews, XIII, ix, 1, “Hyrcanus took also Dora and Marissa, cities of Idumea, and subdued all the Idumeans; and permitted them to stay in that country, if they would be circumcised, and make use of the laws of the Jews;….. at which time therefore, this befell them, that they were hereafter no other than Jews.”

The New Standard Jewish Encyclopedia, edited by Dr. Cecil Roth and Dr. Geoffrey Wigoder (1970 edition), which says under “Edom,” on page 587, “The Edomites were conquered by John Hyrcanus who forcibly converted them to Judaism, and from then on they constituted a part of the Jewish people, Herod being one of their descendants.  Thereafter, they ceased to figure in Jewish history.

This means that Jews of today must fulfill all the prophecies of Esau-Edom in the last days because many of them are Edomite Jews.  Several Bible teachers are not aware of this turn of events and attempt to locate the Edomites in several places in the Middle East, most notably as the Palestinians who are not the Edomites.  Others locate them in Turkey or other places.  The truth, as admitted in the pages of Jewish Encyclopedias, places the Edomites as Jews in the current nation of Israel and perhaps Europe and the USA. 

Zionism was established as a political movement with the objective being the return to the land of Canaan.  But since Judah itself was forbidden to return without repenting first, the Jews could return only under the promise given to Esau in Gen. 27: 40.  Jacob would have to give the Birthright back to Esau and allow God to give it to the rightful son in His own appointed time and manner. Thus, in order for “Jacob” to give the land back to “Esau,” the old land had to come back under the control of the descendants of Jacob/Ephraim (of the ten Israelite tribes) which was Britain of the “Union Jack" flag. The occupation of Palestine by Britain occurred in 1917, and “Jacob” subsequently gave it back to Esau in 1948. This restored the birthright back to the heirs of Esau within Jewry, rectifying an ancient wrong perpetrated upon Esau in Genesis 27.

According to the law a rebellious son could be disinherited, even as Reuben was disinherited (1 Chron. 5: 1). However, the law clearly states that Esau could not be disinherited until he proved himself to be a rebellious son. God gave the birthright to the descendants of Esau for a time, and as the fig tree cursed by Jesus, they regrew baring many leaves but no fruit.  Jacob and Rebekah did not have the patience to wait for Esau to prove himself unworthy, and the fulfillment had to wait until 1948 with the establishment of the Zionist state.  Practically blind, Isaac was tricked by Jacob.  Now God has blinded the true Israelites, and most of the world, with the result that Esau has obtained the birthright promise for a time, but it will soon be given back to the people of Jacob.

Jacob pretended to be Esau to steal the birthright from him in Genesis 27, so also now has Esau pretended to be Jacob to get it back. Even as Jacob took advantage of Isaac’s blindness, so also has Esau taken advantage of the blindness in the Church to get it back. This may seem unjust, but it is actually the justice of “an eye for an eye” as stated in the law.

The ending of this earth age will soon come.  During the climax of history, God will resolve “the controversy of Zion (Isaiah 34:8 KJV).  It will not be the annihilation of the Palestinians but the total destruction of Jerusalem and Israel proper.

Isaiah 34:5-8 NET  He says, "Indeed, my sword has slaughtered heavenly powers. Look, it now descends on Edom, on the people I will annihilate in judgment."  (6)  The LORD's sword is dripping with blood, it is covered with fat; it drips with the blood of young rams and goats and is covered with the fat of rams' kidneys. For the LORD is holding a sacrifice in Bozrah, a bloody slaughter in the land of Edom.  (7)  Wild oxen will be slaughtered along with them, as well as strong bulls. Their land is drenched with blood, their soil is covered with fat.  (8)  For the LORD has planned a day of revenge, a time when he will repay Edom for her hostility toward Zion.

Edom has returned and built up the desolate places that were taken from the Palestinian Arabs.  They have built new cities and towns and vast housing settlements, but the Lord says, “they shall build, but I will throw down.”

Malachi 1:4 KJV  Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation forever.

The Edomites who actually may be Jews, have a desire to inherit the old land of Canaan that Jacob had stolen from Esau.  Therefore, in spite of their rebellious nature, God was required to give the land back to the descendants of Esau for a season so that he could prove himself an unworthy son and legally be disinherited in a lawful manner.

Now is the time for everyone to revise and modify their end-times prophecy beliefs.  The Edomites are called Jews within Israel and Jerusalem.  Jerusalem will be destroyed by the hand of God.
